Complaint
At "Smart City Insights," we value your feedback and strive to maintain the highest standards in our content, processes, and policies. This procedure outlines the steps to file complaints regarding our journal, editorial staff, or any related matters. We view complaints as opportunities for improvement and are dedicated to addressing them swiftly, courteously, and constructively, all while ensuring fairness to all parties involved.
Filing a Complaint:
If you wish to file a complaint regarding "Smart City Insights," our editorial staff, content, processes, or policies, please send your complaint directly to our designated email address: info@reapress.com. Rest assured, all complaints are treated confidentially by our specialized complaints team.
Escalation Process:
Should the need arise, complaints can be escalated to more senior team members, including an executive editor and, ultimately, the editor-in-chief, whose decision is considered final. If, after this process, the complainant remains dissatisfied, they have the option to forward their complaint to an external body.
Complaints Beyond Editorial Control:
For complaints that fall outside the purview of "Smart City Insights's" editorial staff, these will be promptly referred to the relevant heads of departments within Research Expansion Alliance (REAPress), our publisher.
Acknowledgment and Responses:
All complaints submitted will receive a formal acknowledgment within three working days of receipt. If a comprehensive response cannot be provided within two weeks, an interim response will be sent to keep you informed of our progress. Throughout the resolution process, further provisional responses will be delivered, ensuring you are updated until the complaint is fully resolved.
We are committed to fostering an environment of open communication and accountability. Your complaints contribute to our continuous improvement, and we appreciate your engagement in making "Smart City Insights" a journal that adheres to the highest standards of quality and transparency.
For any inquiries related to our complaint procedure or other matters concerning the journal, please do not hesitate to contact us at sci@reapress.com.
